Materials Pavilion Debuts at NeoCon 2010: Suite 8-3130

Material Intelligence and Think Materials partner with Interiors & Sources magazine to create an educational, experiential exhibit at North America's premier commercial design show.

I recently published a story about the power of putting our materials into the hands of designers. If only we could visit every working designer, in person, with our story and samples of our materials!

Well, through a special arrangement with Interiors & Sources magazine, Material Intelligence can put your products in front of thousands of designers at NeoCon - North America's largest event for commercial interior designers and architects.

The Interiors & Sources Materials Pavilion is an 800 sq ft space dedicated to the most exciting materials for commercial interior design and furniture. It's a curated exhibit, based on the success of the Think Materials and Material Intelligence exhibits at IIDEX last year.

This is an unparalleled opportunity, with virtually no hassle on your part. I look forward to your help putting our materials into the hands and minds of working designers.

Cheers,

Kenn

The details:

  • This is a special opportunity being organized by Material Intelligence.
  • The Materials Pavilion is an open space in the eighth floor, over 800 square feet, in which we're erecting two L-shaped walls in opposing corners.
  • The exteriors of the walls will be designer panels; the interior will carry the "curated" sample collection.
  • Samples are mounted to 11 x 14" panels, with small tags detailing the product and its source.
    • Each sponsored section is 40" wide, enough room for 9 to 12 samples
    • Some of the sample space may contain photography or images depicting the materials in use, "green facts," etc.
  • We have room for two or three free-standing pieces of furniture showing off the materials in the collection.
  • Hand-outs or leave-behinds must be limited to educational pieces.
  • Visitors will be scanned, information will be shared with sponsors.
  • Visitors will be directed to other exhibits at NeoCon where featured materials can be seen in use.
  • Sponsors are welcome to have representatives in the pavilion.
  • Interiors & Sources will be promoting the space in print and online leading up to NeoCon, and reviewing it later again later in the year.

Costs:
Single sponsored section (9-12 samples):  $3,000
Freestanding furniture piece:                     $1,500
(depending on size and space available; only with sponsorship)
